OUTLANDER

This is a serie of vital importance about scotish history, spirituality and transformation, the Netflix series, based on a type of Fantasy Novel, started with Guy Gavriel Kay, the gender called historical fiction, in which the characters are thrown through space-time windows, mixing the concepts of fantasy novel and science fiction.

This epic series narrates the events that lead Claire from 1945, after the end of the second world war to the 17th century, when the Jacobites tried to maintain their identity in a Scotland subjugated to English rule.

The narrative focuses on Claire's relationship with her two husbands, that of her time Frank Randall, and her rescuer James Fraser. Is it possible to love two people at the same time, without being unfaithful to either?

Through Claire and her layers we realize that the answer is not simple and that there are contradictions between respect, fidelity, passion and love, that an affectionate heart of a woman ahead of her time cannot answer but is forced to be exceeded in the name of larger values.
